Hi, I’m Jen.
For a long time, home looked different for us.
We spent years living full-time in an RV, traveling the country and learning how to make small spaces feel meaningful. I shared a lot of that life online. From transforming our RV into a home, to discovering the beauty of life on the road.
But life shifted in ways I never expected.
After experiencing a traumatic loss, everything changed for me - including my relationship with travel, safety, home, and stability.
We traded constant movement for something slower and more rooted. First, we spent a year in North Georgia turning a concrete slab into an outdoor oasis. Now, we’re starting over again in Richmond, Virginia - learning how to make a house feel like us … one project at a time.
Somewhere along the way, I was inspired to share more. Beyond the home.
In recent years, I’ve gone through a lot of unraveling and rebuilding. I’m learning more about myself after receiving a late-in-life diagnosis of autism and ADHD. So, naturally, I’m reevaluating everything - what I need in a home, how creativity functions in my life, and who I am at my core.
By the way, I am not an expert in any of these things. But I’m willing to figure it out.
This space is a place of zen - where all of these pieces meet:
home and design
creativity and reinvention
grief and healing
beauty in ordinary moments
learning how to exist more gently

You’ll find thoughtful reflections, in-progress spaces, aesthetic imagery, and the kind of observations that probably belong in voice notes but may somehow end up here instead.
I care less about perfection these days. I’m leaning into creating. Into feeling.
A home that feels comforting.
A life that feels fulfilling.
A creative practice that feels like me.
If you’re drawn to slower living, making things feel beautiful, creating spaces and routines and moments that help you feel a little more at home in your own life … then this space is for you.
Signed, Jen
